Although Saif Ali Khan is a famous Bollywood actor, he is the son of a former captain of the 39, equally famous Indian cricket team, Mansoor. Ali Khan, who was also the nabob of Pataudi. In fact, he was also known as Tiger Pataudi. In a recent interview, Saif revealed that his father had actually changed his name in 1971.

Saif was a guest on the show from Arbaaz Khan, Pinch, and told the story of his Father. He said: "In 1971, princely titles were suppressed in India. Dad lost the post of captain of India and his title the same year. So, that must have been something. He has also changed his name. His signature was Pataudi and his name was Pataudi and everyone called him Pataudi. But the day the Indian government banned princely titles, it was called Mansoor Ali Khan and his signature was changed to Mansoor Ali Khan.

Saif also revealed that as a child he had already asked his father why he had two names. "To that, he said that when I was born, I was born, but after 1971, that changed, so it's my name now. And that's your name too. You're calling Khan. This is how we were raised, "said the actor, adding that even though he was very proud of Pataudi, he had never been interested in becoming a nabob and that he only saw himself as an actor.
