Rallapalli starred in more than 800 films and was popular as a comedian and character performer.
Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao, Telugu veteran, died in a private hospital in Hyderabad on Friday night after a cardiac arrest.
He was 74 years old.
Rallappali, who was suffering from a liver problem, died at 6:16 pm after a cardiac arrest, hospital sources said. He was admitted to the hospital on May 15, they said.
Rallapalli began his acting career in theater very early and then entered the cinema. He had also worked as an artist at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
He played in more than 800 films and was popular as a comedian and character artist.
He was five times winner of the prestigious Nandi. price in Andhra Pradesh indivis.
