Priyanka Chopra certainly makes all the appearances in her first account in Cannes. The 36-year-old actress never fails to amaze us about appearances on the red carpet and her latest one is no exception. After making a superb appearance in the shimmering black dress of Roberto Cavalli, the actress chose a white tulle dress superimposed in the studios of Georges Hobeika. She accented her look with a necklace and diamond earrings, designed by Chopard. Priyanka's makeup was minimal and her hair was perfectly pulled in a bun. Nick Jonas was surely the surprise element of the red carpet. The singer accompanied his wife in white costume. The presence of the couple was pure magic on the red carpet. Priyanka shared a video of her look at her story on Instagram and she described herself as a "tulle cloud".

Priyanka, who is now commuting between Mumbai and the United States, made her first entry in her Cannes newspaper Thursday night while walking on the red carpet in a shimmering Cavalli Black Dress with a dark red band on the bodice. The strapless dress had a very high slit and Priyanka accessorized with refined earrings.

The glamor of the old world was the look that Priyanka Chopra sought, channeling her inner Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren and Princess Diana. She posted these old photos of fashion icons one day before landing in Cannes.

Priyanka Chopra already has a connection to Cannes – two years ago, the trailer of Pahuna the film Sikkimese that she had produced, was screened at the film festival. Priyanka, who starred in the American television show Quantico and has three releases in Hollywood, is a red carpet at international events such as the Oscars, the Emmys, the Met Gala and New York Fashion Week. Cannes was only a matter of time.
