Avengers: Endgame star, Elizabeth Olsen, revealed that she had auditioned to play Daenerys Targaryen in the hit series of the HBO channel, Game of Thrones.

Emilia Clarke eventually won the role. one part was "the most delicate listening" of all time as she had asked him to read a monologue with two different accents.

"When I started working, I just auditioned for everything, because I like to audition. And I auditioned for Khaleesi. I forgot it. It was the most delicate audition I have ever had.

Tamzin Merchant, a Tudor actor, was chosen for the role of Daenerys and played the role in the pilot episode filmed at the end of 2009.
