Anil Kapoor is revealed to be a proverbial lambi race ka ghoda in every way. Delighted for his evergreen look, the actor now celebrates 35 years of marriage with his wife Sunita. In an interview to a daily newspaper, the actor revealed his love story that began at Raj Kapoor where she fell in love with her voice. They became friends at first, which gradually changed to love. They married after having attended a decade.

While Anil revealed interesting anecdotes about his timid but elegant wife, he was not able to convince her to do it – that is to pose with him for a magazine. Describing her as being shy for the media, he says that she just wants to lead a normal life. While respecting his decision, he says that it sometimes displeased him, because he wanted to present himself as a happy father, just like his contemporaries. He added that he had tried to convince her repeatedly, including touching her feet to do a cover session with him, but to no avail. He could just change it in his opinion.

The couple has three children – Sonam Kapoor, Harshavardhan and Rhea.
