The next Bollywood actor film Saif Ali Khan with Navdeep Singh – in which he plays the role of Naga Sadhu – has been renamed and just released. Previously titled Hunter, the film will now be called Laal Kaptaan and is expected to be released in theaters on September 6th. The filmmakers also released the film's first poster, officially revealing Saif's look, his new name, and the release date. NH 10 director Navdeep Singh directed the film and Rai said he had full confidence in the film. "Laal Kaptaan is this kind of film that will certainly generate a genre and narrative style that are unique to it," he added.
The film has been in production for some time. The team toured Rajasthan and the scenery images cast off Saif's look, sparking online debates that she was inspired by Johnny Depp's character in The Pirates of Caribbean.

Saif plays a Naga sadhu – half of the two brothers at war, in the film presented as a revenge drama. The film also stars actors Zuk Hussain and Manav Vij from Mukkabaaz.
Saif recently had a new breath of life infused into his career with his digital debut, Sacred Games, gaining recognition from all sides. Before the series that also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi, Saif had several disastrous releases – Rangoon, Chef and Kaalakaandi – all bombarded at the box office. He is currently working on the second season of the Netflix series where Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey have joined the cast.
