While everyone started to speculate, the actor was diagnosed with cancer, his family continued to deny it. However, early in the year, the cryptic message of Neetu Kapoor confirmed it. On the first day of the year, Neetu said he had no resolution but only wishes. And in the same message, she spoke about her wish to see cancer become a zodiac. This sentence has dropped the major allusion.
We loved how the whole city of B reunited to support Rishi and his family in their dark days and tried to diffuse some sun. From Shah Rukh Khan to Aamir Khan, everyone is sure to visit the actor and pray for his speedy recovery. Ambanis visited Rishi and Neetu in New York. On May 19, 2019, Neetu grabbed her Instagram account to share some photos with them. In one of the pictures we see the four people huddled together as they dressed in matching color clothing. Rishi's courage and patience allowed him to win the battle against cancer and he is now free from cancer. Recently, in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, he talked about his fight and said, "My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US But God was nice! I'm in remission, which means that I am without cancer. " However, there are other medical procedures to follow before he can return to India, said the actor, "I will have to do a bone marrow transplant, which should in all likelihood take two months minimum. "
", he added, "Neetu is at my side like a rock. Otherwise, I am a person too difficult to handle with regard to food and drinks. My children Ranbir and Ridhima really carried their shoulders my problems. A person like me who has never had patience is the way God teaches me patience. Healing is a slow procedure. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rishi said, "My treatment is in progress, I hope to be able to recover quickly and God willing, I will come back. The procedure is long and tedious and it takes a huge patience which, unfortunately, is not one of my virtues. "
Rishi also talked about what worried him: "Fortunately, I do not think about movies anymore, I just want to be empty and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind.
