On Tuesday, Vivek Oberoi apologized for sharing a meme on
personal life of actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and deleted the controversial text
tweet after being severely criticized
social media.
Oberoi, who would have dated the former Miss World at the beginning of
2000s, released Monday a message on Twitter with three panels, one featuring it,
another with Salman Khan and a third with Aishwarya's husband, Abhishek, and
Aaradhya girl.

Sonam Kapoor, Bollywood actor, calls the same
"Disgusting and clbadless" in a tweet while Urmila Matondkar,
the Congress candidate from Mumbai North, called Oberoi for not having the

The National Commission for Women sent a notification to Oberoi,
asking him to give an explanation for sharing the "insulting" and
"Misogynous" tweet.
