Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE television tonight after the episode of SmackDown entitled "Money in the Bank".
After WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Sami Zayn in an untitled game, Paul Heyman appeared and embarrbaded him. there and will cash his Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler then attacked Kingston instead. He placed Kingston's head inside a chair, slammed it against the announcements table and continued to attack Kingston while the referees were trying to stop him.
Kingston was placed on a stretcher after the angle of attack. When he arrived on the scene, Kingston insisted on going alone to the back.
Ziggler came back to the public and made a promo later in the series. Ziggler said that he should have been the person who did what Kingston did by taking advantage of an opportunity to become a champion. At the end of his promotion, Ziggler said he would beat Kingston for the WWE title at the Super Show Down in Saudi Arabia and that fans would admire, respect and love Ziggler.
Before Kingston against Zayn, it was reported that Big E had also been attacked behind the scenes. It was stated in comments that Xavier Woods had accompanied Big E to a "local medical facility".
This was Ziggler's first appearance at the WWE since he was attending the Royal Rumble in January. He was part of the Raw training during his last appearance on television.
