Producer Ekta Kapoor shared a fortunate position for Union Minister Smriti Irani on the day of the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Irani is in close conflict with Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Amethi.
"All eyes are on #amethiwe r rooting for our aunt," Ekta wrote with a picture of his son watching the election results on television. Irani also thanked Kapoor and responded with emojis.
Kapoor and Irani have a lot of hindsight. The television and film producer had entrusted Irani with the lead role of her hit show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, in 2000. While the Iranians left for politics, their friendship continues.
