The revitalization of a franchise is hard work and time and time again, the sequels and prequels tend to undermine the genius of the original. Regarding the Frankly Terminator which is the holy grail of action movies featuring the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800, some installments have made her leave the park while the most recent, Terminator: Genysis (2015) failed to impress. It is therefore not surprising that the sixth installment, Terminator: Dark Fate is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991).
Terminator: Dark Fate marks the return of the incomparable Linda Hamilton in the role of Sarah Connor. The very first trailer of Terminator: Dark Fate is out and is as epic as one might think. We finally see Sarah Connor back in action, all firearms on fire. In her very first sequence, we see her protect Grace, who is not so human (played by Mackenzie Davis) and Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes). Grace plays a soldier who protects Skynet's new target, a young woman named Dani. We also have a brief overview of the T-800 meeting with Sarah.
