Actress Aishwarya Rai just returned from the Cannes Film Festival after several breathtaking appearances and reunited with her family to have a good time. Aishwarya, her husband Abhishek Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya went to dinner with her mother Brinda Rai, who celebrated her birthday on Thursday.

While Aishwarya wore a pink ethnic costume, Aaradhya and Abhishek chose white for the evening. Aishwarya had also wished his mother on Instagram with a photo and a message: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMINYY-DODDAAA, DARLING DARLING, TEAM ETERNALLY."

At the screening of the film The Belle Epoque, the actor once again walked the red carpet in tulle dress with white feathers. She had also shared photos of her different looks on the Cote d'Azur. Upon her return, she was seen with Aaradhya at the Mumbai airport. The actor had attended Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk Show before heading to Cannes to cheer for Aaradhya at the event. Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan also joined them for the show.

Aishwarya was last seen at Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Fanney Khan. She will now be seen playing a negative role in the drama of the Mani Ratnam period, based on Kalki's historical Tamil novel, Ponniyin Selvan. She will play the wife of the treasurer of the kingdom of Chola, Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar, in the film.
