India film critic: Arjun Kapoor leads a human hunt in a lukewarm thriller

The Faceless Man. The man who has no face. Nobody has seen it for more than a decade. But wherever he goes, he leaves destruction in his wake. Who is this man, the most sought after in India, who has held the country captive for more than a decade with serial explosions, deaths and ravages? After a series of explosions in Pune, the IB (Bureau of Intelligence) and RAW (Wing of Research and Analysis) are docked. Prabhat (Arjun Kapoor) receives information from one of his sources. Freely inspired by the capture of the Indian mujahideen terrorist Yasin Bhatkal, arrested in 2013 after a multi-year human hunt, the Indian group Most Wanted is trying to unravel the problems faced by these unnamed heroes. The most wanted Indians start on a promising note, but they are really in the last 25 minutes as the movie takes off. Arjun Kapoor strives to play the moderate Prabhat, which must be the motivation of a group of improbable patriots. Director Raj Kumar Gupta tells his story with some hilarious dialogues here and there. But India's Most Wanted is suffering from a slow pace, which is very detrimental for a movie of this genre. It's a crime thriller. The film had to be much better knitted. The story does not move in the first period. You feel disconnected while something is happening on the screen.

The actors make visible efforts to raise the film. Without success. It is only after the intermission that India, the most sought after, finally enters the match. The pursuit of the cat and the mouse begins and you begin to enjoy the movie. You are brought to feel the race against the clock and the feeling of an impending destiny. During all this time, the daily life of Kathmandu is well captured on film. Dudley's cinematography deserves praise for Nepal's clichés, which show not only the beauty of the place, but also the narrow streets and lands of today.

The problem of India, the most sought after, is also its turn. Anyone who has visited Nepal and the places where the film takes you can already feel that there is something wrong. The landmark mentioned in one of the crucial scenes of the film is a gift. So it's a little too late to watch the movie.
