Today in the morning, officials of Dulquer Salmaan and The Zoya Factor of Sonam Kapoor announced that they had postponed the release of their film. The sporting drama, which was due out on June 14, will arrive on September 20 at the box office. Interestingly, Vidyut Jammwal's Commando 3 hits the screens the same day, which means we're going to see a big box-office shock again. Since both films are aimed at younger audiences, it will be interesting to see what the audience will choose between the two.
Speaking of The Zoya Factor, it is the adaptation of the 2008 Anuja Chauhan novel with the same name. It tells the story of a Rajput girl, Zoya Solanki, who met the Indian cricket team through her executive work at an advertising agency and ended up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the 2010 Cricket World Cup. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film also stars Angad Bedi, Sanjay Kapoor and Sikander Kher in lead roles.
On the other hand, Commando 3 is performed by Vidyut Jammwal, Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah. The film is directed by Aditya Datt and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It is presented by Reliance Entertainment. Like the previous two, Commando 3 will be very active in action and cascade.
