On Tuesday, two days after the finale of the controversial series, cornet actor Wells launched a trend on Twitter that addresses this issue in a creative and intriguing manner. Wells created a thread titled "A Black Cast for @GameOfThrones", which reinvents the series with a cast of black actors.
"I designed this to deal with the death of my favorite show," Wells told INSIDER. "It's weird because in doing so, it has not even occurred to me that people other than my friends would participate."
Soon, other Twitter users added their own suggestions.
