In the fashion industry, inspiration is ubiquitous and sometimes, the lines become blurry and the designers copy the works of other contemporaries.
Although some of these copies go unnoticed, some are captured and brought to the attention of the public and resemble Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar's girlfriend is a victim of this.
Recently, an Instagram account, known for revealing fake drawings and scams in the fashion world, was pushing Shibani to dress up with a scam Giambattista Valli dress.
The message was entitled "Does the romantic aesthetic of @ shehlaakhan's tulle is heavily borrowed from @giambattistavalliparis? Discuss"
Shibani had recently posted a photo with Farhan dressed in a dress strapless in bright pink tulle for an event in London.
The Shibani dress wore the designer Shehla Khan and featured ruffled tulle details stacked over the entire dress.
According to the message, the dress that Shibani wore was a true copy of Italian fashion. The design of the creative hion, the new collection of Giambattista Valli titled Project Love, was launched a few days ago.
Giambattista Valli is the same creator who created the iconic green tulle dress of Deepika Padukone from this year's Cannes Festival of 2019, which is part of the same collection.
After the account accused Shibani of wearing a torn dress, she commented on their message after criticizing him for publishing lies.
She wrote, "How does it look like, do we just make-up for the content? Is that the premise of this page? Find another hobby."

Apparently, Shehla Khan, the creator, whose dress wore Shibani, worked with tulles for many years. Shehla also conducted a subtle search on the Instagram account for falsely monitoring them.
She posted a picture of Deepika Padukone wearing a similar dress from her 2018 collection.
