The first episode of Kawach 2 presents viewers with an old story. In the village of Deolali, in the interior of Maharashtra, there is a Shiv temple. Many believe that every night of Mahashivratri. At 4 o'clock in the morning, we can see Shiv and Parvati dancing in front of the most ardent bhakts and if a single girl sees them, she then has the privilege of having a glimpse of her future husband. However, the path leading to this temple pbades through a cemetery and although Shiv-Parvati is immersed in the dance at 4 am, it is believed that the evil spirits are free on the outside. The story continues then to show a patriarchal Marathi family, where a single girl is frustrated because she is not purported. have chosen for the wedding. Trying to see Shiv-Parvati and knowing who will marry her will seem to be the only way for her. But his mother is worried and stops him. The girl escapes anyway to go to the temple. But as fate would have it, she finds herself facing evil in the graveyard and is taken away. We will never find her again.
The story then advances to 22 years when the missing girl's brother is mourning for his sister, an arti in hand. His wife is nice but powerless. They left the great haveli when her sister disappeared and settled in Mumbai with their children to escape the evil. The couple has three children – two girls Sandhya, Suman and a boy, Mowgli. Suman is an air hostess and Mowgli is a schoolboy. The protagonist of the series, Sandhya, works in a private company owned by Jindals and her boss, Angad Jindal, has been in love with her. He is even shown that he is stupidly offered to marry because he loves his honesty, but she rejects him.
Angad belongs to a family very well made to do it and huge. With many aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers and friends, who love and care for him, they all have suggestions to make him to impress Sandhya. But he declares that he will wait for Sandhya to accept him as he is.
The story goes back to Sandhya's home in Mumbai, where her grandmother summoned her whole family to Deolali because she is sick. Sandhya's father and mother and his friends Kartik, Akhil, Ankit and Ranjana lead two separate cars. Although Sandhya's mother warned him to pray in a particular temple before entering the village, his friends and Sandhya ignore him and go away. Their car stops without warning in front of the same cemetery and Sandhya with Ranjana wander inside. They are about to reach the temple when they feel a perverse presence and return to the car.
Later, after reaching the haveli when Sandhya's persimmon hears him and Ranjana plans to visit the temple, she warns them against that. However, Ranjana does not pay attention and goes out. Despite the fact that Sandhya stopped her, she went to the cemetery. For fear that her friend disappears, Sandhya seeks her. She manages to escape the evil and reaches the temple. As his hand touches the steps of the temple, all the evil powers disappear. She enters and is lucky to see the silhouette of the Shiv-Parvati dance. She reads a mantra that magically appears in the bright divine light inside the temple. She is surrounded by them and as she stumbles she is held by a stranger – her future husband. But the twist is here. This is not his boss Angad. It's another man.
When she comes looking for Ranjana, she finds herself in front of a chudail. While she tries to escape him, her father and the kaka who are looking for girls after realizing that they are gone from home are gone. While they are looking for Ranjana and their loved ones, they find her hanging upside down near a tree. She is dead.
The next episode will see Sandhya and Angad attend the wedding of a colleague and she will stumble and fall again, as Angad will catch her. Will she say yes for the marriage with Angad? What will happen to the unknown that Sandhya saw at Shiv Temple?
