Veeru was seen by the public during the screening of the film Ajay Total Dhamaal earlier this year. He had worked in more than 80 films as a stunt director and had even directed his son Ajay in 1999, Hindustan Ki Kasam.

Speaking of his father a few years ago, Ajay had stated that he was his true Singham. "The Singham in my life can only be my father. Because this is a man who came to Bombay at that time with 4 rupees in his pocket, eager to become something, he fought, washed himself and lived in taxis to be able to live here , he did not eat for eight days, worked so hard, he became a street fighter until Mr. Ravi Khanna saw him one day ask him if he was going to become a combat director. From there, his growth from nowhere to become the greatest director of shares in India is remarkable. "
