Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol and others traveled to Ajay Devgn and his family after the death of his father, director of Veeru Devgan shares, in Mumbai Monday morning. Shah Rukh Khan, one of Kajol's closest friends from the Bollywood Circle, was sighted arriving at the Devgn Juhu residence later in the afternoon. He was photographed getting out of his car and walking through the doors of Kajol's house in Mumbai. Aishwarya and Abhishek met the Devils with clasped hands. Sunny Deol and his brother Bobby were among the first to visit the Devgn family – they arrived together a few hours after the announcement of the death.

Veeru Devgan, renowned director, directed action scenes for films such as Kranti, Aaj Ka Arjun, M Natwarlal, M. India, Shahenshah and Tridev In addition to his impressive resume as an action director, he also worked as badistant director for films such as ] Vishwatma and Mera Pati Sir Mera Hai and produces films as Dil Kya Kare and Singhasan . The only project of Veeru Devgan as a director remains that of 1999 Hindustan Ki Kasam starring his son Ajay Devgn, as well as Manisha Koirala and Amitabh Bachchan. He has also worked with Ajay Devgn in films like Ishq and Dilwale .
Veeru Devgan is survived by two sons – Ajay and Anil – and a daughter.
