Actor Amitabh Bachchan paid a heartfelt tribute to veteran action director Veeru Devgan, who died Monday in Mumbai. Amitabh wrote a long note on her blog, telling a story from the sets of her 1971 film, Reshma Aur Shera, on which Devgan worked as a stuntman.

Devgan then became a renowned director and worked on more than 80 films, including Amitabh's Laal Badshaah. He also directed Amitabh in his only director, Hindustan Ki Kasam. The film also features his sons Ajay Devgn, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen

Amitabh also mentioned how he had offered Bollywood a talented actor in Ajay.
