Jericho wins by spindle at 26:32
Matt: Chris Jericho is the only wrestler for whom I beckoned at a live event. At the time of the WCW, I had one that was talking about conspiracy. As a teenager and young adult, he is the first wrestler I turned to and whom I consider the "full package" – sorry, Lex Luger. The antics of Jericho were in effect from the beginning. He beat a Cracker Barrel gun, rang himself during the match and filmed Omega writhing on the ground.
I just want to point out that, even though this match is fantastic, there have been very bad referees here … and throughout a series of matches tonight. The accounts are not at the same pace and things are spoiled when falling cards.
Whatever it is, I loved the game. It was not as awesome as their fight against Wrestle Kingdom, but it's okay. Jericho's "Judas Effect" finisher is a hot mess compared to all his previous players in his arsenal, and that's really my only real problem with the match. The finish looks weak, and the Judas Effect finisher does not have the same impact as the Code Breaker and so on. Regardless, it was a clbadic and a good match to close the AEW PPV.
I had a good feeling. Jon Moxley was going to show up tonight and I'm glad it was saved for the end, where he came into the ring and beat everyone. In fact, I'm really excited for an Omega / Moxley match now. That's something I never thought I'd say, because who would have thought Dean Ambrose would have left WWE?

Chris: Expecting this more than anything else, and this gave more than I could have asked. So much so that I have not kept detailed notes. That said, I love a good V trigger, and they've been used expertly here. Meanwhile, the old Jericho finishing moves that were not working – Codebreaker, Lionsault – were a nice touch, which led to his new Judas Effect (which I'm not a fan of). Like Mat, the only real tattoo I have here is arbitrage. This is not the quality we have seen elsewhere on the map. Chris Jericho won with this new elbow and will face Hangman for the AEW championship. It should be fantastic, but it will not go beyond this one.
Holy cow, however. The end of the show, including the arrival of John Moxley, adds the perfect special moment to end Double or Nothing. I very much hope to see Moxley against Omega.
