SmackDown Live, meanwhile, was certainly better than the red mark this week.
Kofi Kingston beat Kevin Owens in a rematch of Money in the Bank, while Carmella avenged last week's defeat by beating Kevin Owens. pin Mandy Rose. SmackDown women's champion Bayley turned a blind eye to Lacey Evans, who lost the fight. The team of R-Truth and Roman Reigns faced off against Drew McIntyre and Elias during a team match. The Big Dog pinned Elias to win a victory for his team. Earlier, R-Truth had lost his title 24/7 against Elias but he won it back with the help of Roman Reigns.
Super ShowDown is only two weeks away and it was a good edition of the blue brand. Here we discuss three things that WWE told us about this week on SmackDown Live.
No. 3 R-Truth will long retain the title 24/7
The fans made themselves heard when the billion dollar company of Vince McMahon presented the championship 24/7 last week. Mick Foley unveiled the new belt and we saw three champions on his first night. Since it can be defended 24 hours, it is likely to change hands often.
R-Truth, who has survived several times with the title, was pinned by Elias on SmackDown Live this week. Therefore, we had four champions in the space of a week. However, R-Truth recovered the belt at the show's main event when Roman Reigns helped him out.
There is no doubt that R-Truth has been an entertaining champion and that a large number of fans love R-Truth as a champion. Considering that R-Truth is one of the funniest characters in society, his comedy attracts the attention of fans. Since R-Truth picked up the title on SmackDown Live this week, he's likely to remain a champion for a while.
