De Pyaar De had a decent second week and the total has now reached 84.49 crores . The film was helped by very stable weekdays and if only the weekend had shown bigger jumps, the case headed by Akiv Ali could have been closer to the mark of 90 crores . Since this has not happened yet, the film's journey to the 100 Crore Club has become a bit difficult.
Rest badured, the rom-com drama is set for 95 crores at least in the last inning. There is practically zero competition this weekend and the film will then have a few more days for a feature film. However, Bharat would arrive midweek and, as a result, the number of screens and shows would decrease considerably. If the starrer Salman Khan had not arrived in the next few days, [DePyaarDe's trip to the century could have been relatively easier.
Nevertheless, The Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu Starrer are a decent deal and for the kind of subject that accompanied it, the distance traveled was favorable. However, given the merit, he deserved to go further.
