Both became the center of attention after Sara told Karan in Koffee With Karan 6 that she would like to date Kartik Aaryan. Today, while they were coming out of their gym, Sara and Kartik were broken. While Sara seemed to be in a hurry and went straight into her car and left, Kartik posed for the pops. Sara was seen wearing a gray tank top with "Pilates Girl" engraved on it, while Kartik wore a casual look. We see Kartik wearing a gray t-shirt with "Black is Punk" written in black sweatpants and black sneakers. He also wears a pair of black sunglbades.

Sara and Kartik were launched in the sequel to Love Aaj Kal. The film had originally starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rishi Kapoor. Filming of the sequel began some time ago in New Delhi, where Sara and Kartik were seen shooting in the streets. A number of videos and photos were shared online, where Sara and Kartik were seen arguing each other for movie scenes. The first look of Sara and Kartik as two lovers lost one in the other left everyone in admiration. The film is untitled and will be released on Valentine's Day 2020.
