NEW DELHI: The stars of the Indian film industry such as Karan Johar, Rajinikanth, Boney Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.
Sidharth Roy Kapur, president of India's film and television producers' guild, and actor Shahid Kapoor confirmed to PTI that they would be present at the event .
Director Boney Kapoor said that he felt "happy and lucky" to be part of the ceremony.
"The kind of victory that they have won, it's almost a celebration, it's a celebration of democracy, something good has happened and it will continue to happen," he said. said Kapoor at the PTI.
Before flying out of Mumbai, Ranaut told reporters that she wished Modi the best for her future endeavors.

Producer Mahavir Jain, one of the organizers of the two meetings, told PTI that personalities such as Rajkumar Hirani, Rajinikanth, Anan L Rai, Karan Johar, Rajput Sushant Singh, Divya Khosla Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal , Mangesh Hadawale and Abhishek Kapoor attend the ceremony.
"It's an honor to be part of the swearing in. We have the vision of our Prime Minister in nation building and it would be a privilege to contribute in our own way. ", he added.
