New Delhi: A petition requesting the title change of Salman Khan's upcoming film "Bharat" was presented to the Delhi High Court on Thursday.
The motion was filed by Vikas Tyagi.
In his plea, Tyagi argued that the title of the film contravened section 3 of the Prevention of Misuse Act, which states that the word "Bharat" can not be used for commercial purposes.
He also sought to alter the dialogue when the character was compared to the country, claiming that it hurts the patriotic feelings of the country's population.
The release of the film is scheduled for June 5.
