In the last episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Anurag is delighted when a worried Prerna tends him. Elsewhere, Ronit recalls his memories with Komolika while Veena received unexpected news.
In the last episode, unable to find Komolika, Anurag ends up dueling with Ronit. On the other hand, Mr. Choubey is doing a devilish plan. Choubey had no choice but to leave Basu Bari with the taste of defeat since Anurag had shown the footage of police video surveillance, which proves the innocence of Prerna. He gives them a murderous look and goes away, deciding to give Prerna a lesson soon enough. Veena and Shivani leave after wishing a speedy recovery to Moloy and come home for Mahesh who is waiting for them. He informs Veena and Shivani of Aryan's visit and the dramatic fate of Komolika. While Mahesh looks forward to Komolika's disappearance, Shivani feels relieved at Ronit's arrest.
Here, Prerna prepares turmeric milk for Anurag and the servant blesses them a happy life together. In the meantime, Mishka goes to Ronit where she finds him absorbed in feelings of revenge and tells him about Komolika's truth. Blindfolded with his sister's love, Ronit explains to Mishka that her only goal in life is to take revenge on Prerna and make sure she dies. While playing chess, Anupam suggests that it's time for Anurag to confess his love to Prerna, the weather being perfect. Anurag decides to urge Prerna to get close to him when he confesses his love for her. He goes home with a broken button and asks him to fix the button for him.
Prerna pretends to know nothing and sews the button for him while he tries to put words on his feelings. Right now, Mohini comes in and is upset to see them together. She tells Anurag to give her credit card to Prerna because she has to go shopping with Nivedita for Tapur's wedding. She taunts her by taking the name Navin, which leaves Prerna in shock.
