Singer Vishal Mishra opens her single and songs to Kabir Singh. Continue reading.
Kabir Singh, the director of Shahid Kapoor, has been praised since the recent unveiling of the trailer. Singer Vishal Mishra, who composed the Salman Khan-backed notebook music, is preparing to leave for Kabir Singh, where he has sung a few songs. Recently, Vishal has also released one of his, and in a conversation with us, the singer has revealed his enthusiasm to see how people react to both. Excerpts from the interview:
After Notebook, you sang some songs in Kabir Singh. Are you excited?
I am very excited. These are pure tracks. There is no malice in it. The beauty of the soundtrack is that I try to make very vulnerable love songs, because Kabir Singh is a strong and vulnerable character. I can not wait to see people's reactions. This is one of my best projects to date.
What would you like to say about your first single?
Sajna Ve was a beautiful trip. I am happy that people give him so much love. I like working on movie music, but the experience of creating an independent song is different. When something you are working on is not linked by a script, you have the impression of flying in the open. It is liberating and I am happy that people have so much linked to Sajna Ve.
What was your inspiration behind the music / the lyrics and the song?
I wanted to feel the first breath of love. There is a gap and idleness. I composed, wrote and sang the song, but the track is still incomplete, which is incredible. My intention was to feel good, smile and love the song, and I am so happy that people feel the same.
What is the most important support for you up to now? Someone in particular who is your model or who you admire?
No one has been my biggest supporter. There are many people, my parents to start. Salman Khan Sir has been my greatest mentor and I have the chance to be with him and that he is there to support me and guide me. My models were Sonu Nigam, Michael Jackson and John Mayer.
