Actress Katrina Kaif's statement about Janhvi Kapoor's "very, very short film" in her fitness center caused a stir on social media. Actor Sonam Kapoor, who is also the first cousin of Janhvi, is now in his defense.
When addressing Instagram, Sonam wrote, "She also wears ordinary clothes and cradles her." She also shared a Janhvi collage in a pair of denim shorts and a white top.

Sonam and Janhvi are rather close as cousins. After the sudden disappearance of the actor Sridevi, Sonam was perceived as a worried elder sister of Janhvi and her younger sister Khushi.
Sonam, who was last seen in Aisa Laga of Ek Ladki's Ko Dekha Toh, will then appear in The Zoya Factor. The film is based on a novel by the same name of the writer Anuja Chauhan. It's the story of an advertising director who casually becomes the lucky charm of the Indian Cricket team at a World Cup tournament. The film also stars Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, who debuted at Hindi cinema with Karwaan.
Meanwhile, Janhvi is busy filming his next film, biopic of the IAF officer, Gunjan Saxena. She was in Lucknow in May for the filming. Her cousin Shanaya Kapoor works as badistant director in the same film.
