Priyanka Chopra once again defended her longtime friend Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Susbad. Yes! You heard right. The Quantico actress has now become one of Meghan Markle's biggest advocates whenever it's a controversy related to the latter. Meghan Markle happens to have been the subject of many trolls and other insulting remarks, although she is now part of the royal family. This has continued since the relationship between Meghan and Prince Harry was made public in 2017.
In one of his recent interactions with the media, Priyanka said the critics received by Meghan were really unhappy. The actress also added that Meghan Markle was a victim of racism. She also congratulated Meghan by stating that the Duchess was herself despite having tolerated everything. Previously, there was information of an enmity between Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle while the duchess did not attend the marriage of the latter with the international singer Nick Jonas. But now, after Priyanka's defensive statement on Meghan Markle, we can definitely say that these are just rumors.
On the frontline of work, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the next film The Sky is Pink which was directed by Shonali Bose. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles. The release of the film is scheduled for October 11, 2019. It was produced jointly by Priyanka Chopra, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
