WWE has long been the number one professional wrestler in the United States, the United Kingdom and beyond, but a new promotion has now begun, giving WWE its first real competition since the WCW disappeared .

AEW can it be a real competition for WWE?

The short answer is yes. In the late 90s, during the Attitude Era fight, WWE competed with the WCW for odds, bringing more people than ever to the fight. But in 2001, Vince McMahon bought his contest and the WCW was gone.
Since then, the closest WWE to the competition is the TNA (now Impact Wrestling) which was founded in 2002. But despite a list of great talents, including future WWE stars Samoa Joe and AJ Styles TNA never failed to challenge WWE. One of the main reasons for this was the group's reliance on former WWE talent, including the commitment of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, rather than building their own stars.
AEW feels much less likely to fall into this trap. Yes, they have Jericho and Moxley, but they have also completed their list with astonishing young talents who, if so, are future superstars (in the sense of WWE). It also contributes to the fact that AEW has a lot of money behind him, as well as Tony Kahn, a true and competent amateur professional wrestler at the helm.
In the absence of weekly television series, it's hard to say for sure how much AEW will make WWE fans move, but if the buzz created by Double or Nothing is in the spotlight, WWE has just found its biggest competitor nearly two decades.

AEW All Out will take place on August 31 and will be broadcast on Bleacher Report Live in the United States and on ITV Box Office in the United Kingdom. AEW will air their still untitled weekly broadcast on TNT in the US and on an independent television channel starting in the fall.
