A disturbing video of a fan catching singer and actress Miley Cyrus in Barcelona this weekend has spread like wildfire on the Internet. Miley, 26, was badaulted leaving her hotel with her husband Liam Hemsworth. A person has become uncomfortable. The video reveals that she was grabbed by the neck and pulled towards an unidentified fan who then tries to kiss her. The fan was pushed back by a man behind the singer, perhaps Miley's bodyguard, and Liam then put her arm around her and guided her through the crowd. Miley Cyrus, who was in Barcelona to perform at the Primavera Sound Festival, did not comment on this frightening encounter although InStyle cites a source claiming that she was "troubled". Liam Hemsworth did not comment either.
Several comments on Twitter note that Miley Cyrus' security details should have prevented the fan from making any physical contact. It's not just female celebrities who have had too enthusiastic fans approaching too much. In 2015, Adam Levine, leader of the group Maroon 5, was approached by a fan at a concert in California. A fan also forcibly kissed Matt Damon while he was coming out of the Golden Globes a few years ago. Closer to home, Malaika Arora was badaulted in a mall and forced to pose for photos with fans.
