The Duchess Kate was her usual elegance while she was attending a
banquet for the US president
Donald Trump and the first American lady Melania Trump to
Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 3rd.
The Duchess of Cambridge, arrived with
Prince William wore a white dress of Alexander McQueen, of Cambridge
Lover's Knot tiara and mother-queen diamond and sapphire fringe earrings
for the event.

The tiara, of course, once belonged to
Princess Diana . Kate
has worn the tiara many times in the past, including vows
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands at a state dinner in their
honor to Buckingham Palace last October.
Kate also wore her new badge as Lady Grand Cross
of the Victorian Royal Order (GCVO). The title was
offered to her by the queen
earlier this year in honor of the Duchess's close relationship with the Royal Family as well as her dedication to representing Her Majesty . Queen Victoria
created the Order in 1896 and the title of Kate is the highest rank.

Melania wore a Dior Haute Couture dress in ivory silk crepe with silk tulle detail. Her Majesty, who accessorized her outfit with mbadive rubies, also dressed in white, just like
Duchess Camilla .
Kate, William, Camilla, Donald and Melania were joined by the queen,
Prince Charles Duchess Camilla, Duke Duke and Duchess of Gloucester Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Michael of Kent Count Earl and Countess of Wesbad and children of Donald Trump, among others.

During the event, the Queen gave a
speech in which she emphasized "the long-standing friendship between the United Kingdom and the United States".

Donald and Melania arrived in the UK earlier on Monday. They
were greeted on the lawn of Buckingham Palace by
Prince Charles the Duchess Camilla and the
Queen before lunch and visit the photo gallery to see
American articles in his historical collection.

the reception, as it did
Prince Andrew . From there, the first American couple to Westminster
Abbey, then went to have tea at Clarence House, the home of Charles and Camilla.

Tuesday, Donald and Melania will join Charles and Camilla
at Winfield House, the residence of the American ambbadador, for dinner. On their
last day they will accompany the Queen and Charles to an event marking the 75
th
anniversary of the D-Day landing in Portsmouth.
