Usually, big production houses lock up the great heroes and acquire their dates by paying them huge sums. But now, the trend is such that they lock directors and other talented technicians.
The entire South film industry was stunned when KGF became so successful at the box office. More than the hero Yash, director Prashanth Neel has garnered immense attention for the film and several great heroes have run after it. Namrata Shirodkar, on behalf of Mahesh, and UV Creations, on behalf of Prabhas, spoke to him about a film. But nothing has materialized.
By the time Prashanth is putting KGF 2 in canned food with Yash, Telugu's famous production house, Mythri Movie Makers, would have locked him up. They have signed the director's next film by giving a considerable lead and whatever the hero, they will work with Mythri Movie Makers for this film, revealed a source.
It's a terrific gesture, and we must see what Telugu hero can play in the role of the next director of KGF.
