One of the most iconic scenes of all films in the Marvel Cinematic universe was in the last – Avengers: Endgame when Iron Man says: "And I, I am Iron Man "kills Thanos and his army. This scene was followed by a heartbreaking scene in which, as a result of the scene, Tony eventually burns himself and dies in front of his wife Pepper Potts and his fellow Avengers.
The members are all smothered. It was a perfect send to the character (Iron Man), who launched everything for the MCU. However, it seems now that Marvel fans are no longer satisfied with the disappearance of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. In fact, they want to get it back. A petition was launched on Change.Org, which calls for "reviving Tony Stark".
"Tony, the MCU, deserves to come back alive. Tony Stark was always ready to risk his life, to suffer and to sacrifice himself for anyone, without ever receiving anything in return. Since the beginning, since he's been a kid. He can never be happy, and when he finally got what he always wanted and deserved, his wife, daughter, family … he died. He did not deserve this and it's not fair, after all he's lived and done for everyone, he deserves to live and see his daughter grow up.
He helped so many people (in the MCU and in our world), he helped people (including me) to overcome their problems, to accept themselves, to cope with life. It is so important. He saved our lives and it is our turn to save him.
We love it so much. We love him 3000. Without him, we are totally lost. For many people, it was their reason to live and stay in life, "reads the petition.
Up to now, the petition has nearly 17,000 signatures, the number of which increases every hour. Of course, that does not mean that MCU will bring back Robert Downey Jr. to revive his role as Tony Stark / Iron Man, but it's comforting to see how many fans are really that sentimental and are related to a movie character.
