It's long been forgotten that they've also defeated Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, and the hardest thing to believe, especially given the current state of the WWE, is that they're not going to get the job done. They offered no contract to one or the other of the two men, who both ended up going to the TNA. Breeze would have a great game after game with just about everyone on Zayn's list in Neville at Finn Balor in Hideo Itami. His only success was when he formed a team with Fandango and that he was part of a seven-month scenario in 2017 that paid off by being crushed by the Bludgeon Brothers. Zayn was NXT's Daniel Bryan: a loser at the incredibly talented, incredibly popular event. He lost many more times than he won, but his failures and winning tale made him even more loved and plunged the NXT crowd into uncertainty when He finally won the NXT championship. He has had a decent success on the main training, but seems to be losing momentum with multiple injuries. However, he fought on the main card of two WrestleManias, including in a decisive game at age 34, while he was part of Bryan's aforementioned rematch.
Before the next game, Lana was out and introduced Rusev to the world. He had just rejoined the main formation and started his series of undefeated games that lasted a year. Without exaggeration, this match, more than any other, allowed women to become the stars of the main event. Yes, Paige and Emma already had their match, but it was a better-than-average match in a world where WWE matches for women mattered for an unimportant minute. Even when they would have a great match (see AJ vs. Kaitlyn at Payback 2013), that led to nothing. This match led to change. Every game of the big NXT woman you've seen since is a direct result of this game. That night, it was the perfect match in front of the perfect crowd. Bret and Ric were there to add power and, even though he was crazy, he did not steal the show from the girls.
Charlotte would become one of the best wrestlers in the lineup, having a long streak of consecutive wins at the PPV and conquering nine women's titles before the main championship against WrestleMania against Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey .
