20th Century Fox revealed the first trailer of Ad Adra, film of Adventures in London space director James Gray, starring Brad Pitt in the role of director. an astronaut looking for his long-lost father, played by Tommy Lee Jones. The one-and-a-half minute trailer opens with Pitt's character, Roy McBride, who says he owes everything to his father, gone missing during a mission there at 16 years old. The former McBride was looking for a "highly clbadified material threatening the existence of the solar system". When one sees signs of an imminent apocalypse, Roy is badigned to climb into space to investigate what his father was doing. In Joseph Conrad's The Heart of Darkness, he stated that he would present "the most realistic representation of the journey in space told in a movie".

The second part of the trailer features large-scale action scenes and interstellar journeys as Roy ventures further

The film failed to achieve its January goals and May 2019 and was later rejected. Gray is the director of films like The Immigrant, The Lost City of Z and Little Odessa. Four of his films have been nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ad Astra is the second film of the year on Brad Pitt, after the arrival of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in July. In addition, starring Ruth Negga, Tyler John Ortiz and Donald Sutherland, Ad Astra is expected to be available in September.
