A source close to development told Mid Day: "People were waiting for Shah Rukh to announce his next project after Zero, Shah Rukh and Hirani had been meeting for a few months to discuss this issue.It is almost finalized.Hirani will launch his banner. and will not be [work] with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, as it was the norm.This is a romantic drama traversed by a powerful emotional cord; it's all right in the alley of SRK. "
Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan was going star in the biopic of astronaut Rakesh Sharma, but the actor then chose not to participate in the film. Vicky Kaushal replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the film
. Vicky has not completely denied the rumors either. In an interview with a daily newspaper, the actor gave a politically correct answer without any denial.
