Marvel teased that Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander, could take over the role of Lady Sif in the film world of Marvel.
The character appeared for the first time in the MCU in the first film Thor but had only a limited projection time. She was involved a little more in action when she returned for Thor: The Dark World but she has not been seen in the movies since.
However, now, thanks to the wonder of Reddit it was revealed that Alexander's Sif lady could very well make her return to the MCU.
In a recent AMA (ask me something) on the site, the executive producer of Marvel, Victoria Alonso, was A fan asked us if we would ever see Sif again in the future, especially in phase four of the Marvel films.
To which Alonso replied: "Never say never. We love Sif the character as our actress, Jaimie Alexander. "
Sif was a notable omission of Thor: Ragnarok despite rumors suggesting that it would appear in the third film.
Speaking of Collider director Taika Waititi was pretty clear about the fact that Alexander was not in the movie: "Lady Sif is played by an actor at New York on a television show [ Blindspot ] for the moment. She was busy. "
The last time we saw Sif was actually in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, in which she made a few appearances, but maybe she's maybe in the process to prepare for a return to the big screen.
