The judge added that a careful reading of the messages exchanged between the complainant and the accused showed that the woman had voluntarily purchased gifts. for Oberoi and that there was no request from him. Judge Dere also reprimanded the police for failing to conduct the investigation properly.
"Much remains to be said about how the investigation was conducted.The police still have not seized the plaintiff's mobile phones.We are waiting for the police to conduct a free investigation, just and impartial, "said Judge Dere.
Oberoi's attorney, Dinesh Tiwari, had lodged a complaint with Andheri's court of law against the fact that the investigation was not properly conducted and the Had even brought to the knowledge of a high court.
The court further noted that the complainant wanted to marry Oberoi but had refused and avoided it ever since. Oberoi is currently housed in Taloja Prison and, once the procedure is complete, will be available in a day or two.
