Since last week, the buzz was created from the public to guess the title of the horror film that will be produced by Dharma Productions. Well, the details are known and the first film of the franchise is Bhoot-Part One: The Haunted Ship, with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. While the rest of the details are also revealed in detail, it seems that Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan will co-produce the film.
From Bhanu Pratap Singh, first director, Bhoot-Part One is centered on a haunted ship and is based on a true story. The screenplay for the film was written by Bhanu Pratap, who is also a drug addict of the horror film. In addition, he had badisted director Shashank Khaitan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Shashank Khaitan revealed that the concept of the film was immediately appreciated by Karan Johar because it was based on an event and the film will be released on screens this year in November.

Shashank said: "Karan loved it. Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is based on a real incident in Bombay. The shoot is over. Post-production is underway and the film will open in cinemas on November 15 ". Shashank also revealed that the idea was to create something as real as possible and that, therefore, the special effects were used. He said, "The intention is to create a series. We plan to make more authentic movies, even horror comedies. Bhanu and I discussed some ideas.
While the title of the film is similar to that of Ajay Devgn and Urmila Matondkar in 2003, the filmmaker revealed that Ram Gopal Verma had graciously yielded the title of the film. "It's extremely graceful for RGV to give us the title." In the meantime, according to Pinkvilla's exclusive report, Vicky will play the lead role in the film while Bhumi will be seen in an interesting cameo. The film's release is scheduled for November 15, 2019.
