Kiara Advani says his next film Kabir Singh does not glorify or promote self-destructive love. The film tells the story of Kabir, a brilliant but alcoholic young surgeon, played by Shahid Kapoor, going through an intense heart attack after the love of his life Preeti (Kiara) married somebody. one of the others.

Kiara plays the role of a Preeti medical student in the film, directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy. Kabir Singh underwent many casting changes from Ranveer Singh to Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria for the main female role to be considered for the film, but it was finally Shahid and Kiara that were finalized.

According to Kiara, Sandeep approached it through a casting agent after viewing it in the film Telugu Bharat Ane Nenu in which she played alongside Mahesh Babu. She said: "I did a screen test for Kabir Singh and Sandeep liked it." Things were almost locked, but for better-known reasons, it did not work, the film went through casting changes and one day it came back in. I asked the director why he had me thrown again. He said "I can only see you." He was convinced that I could only do this film, and I sincerely believe that the films are in your destiny. "

She adds that her co-star Shahid has always been Sandeep's first choice as Kabir Singh . Kiara says that she looked at the original on the recommendation of Arjun Kapoor. "It's Arjun Kapoor who told me to watch this movie because he knew I was shooting in Telugu at that time. I had really loved it." A few months later, I read that a remake in Hindi was in preparation.
