Karn Johar's Dharma productions have for the most part tasted comedies and romantic dramas. Now the filmmaker has announced that his production house would soon venture into the horror genre with the first installment of a franchise, entitled Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship.
The film will have Vicky Kaushal in the lead and will be led by beginner Bhanu Pratap Singh. Singh previously worked with Shashank Khaitan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) as an badistant.
Vicky's Second Release with Dharma, Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Vessel, Singh as producer alongside Karan, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Bhumi Pednekar will also be present in the film. Sharing the poster at first glance, the actress said she was excited about the "special role".
