A few months ago, celebrity news Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff's big screen reunion toured. Anil Kapoor, too, had opened in much the same way and said that the duo had been approached with a proposal. According to the latest news, Ram Lakhan and Parinda Jodi will work together for the upcoming Subhash Ghai film. The film should be on sale at the end of this year.
A report in Mumbai Mirror revealed that the film was titled Ramchand Kishanchand. A source close to the development told the daily: "This is a police comedy that tells the story of two police officers aged 50 and should be on the floors of Mumbai at the end of the year." Every day, he said that they were working on various scenarios for the dynamic duo and had found one that appealed to them all. Jackie Shroff also stated that it was always a yes from him for a Subhash Ghai film.
Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff collaborated in several films. Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Lajja and Ram Lakhan are the biggest successes to their credit. The co-stars were last seen together on the big screen in the 2013 movie Shootout at Wadala, in which Jackie Shroff made a special appearance.
