Nina Dobrev made a shocking revelation about how she and the co-star of The Vampire Diaries, Paul Wesley, mistook each other in the first five months of the series. However, at present, the duo is one of the best friends in the world and spends time together.
The Vampire Diaries is a show that pleases many. After eight years of awesomeness, we fell in love with Elena Gilbert, Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore. As in Twilight (2008), the Edward and Jacob teams shared fans between the Stelena and Delena shippers. Nina appeared on co-stars Candice King and Kayla Ewell's podcast Directionally Challenge to make this revelation interesting. "Paul and I did not get along at the beginning of the show … I respected Paul Wesley, I did not like Paul Wesley," Dobrev revealed. The actress then explained how people would presume that they would go out together because of their chemical composition on the screen while in reality they were misunderstanding and that they read like of love. The two men did not hear during the first five months of filming.
Paul had already told Nina that in ten years, he would really miss him and the time they shared. Dobrev commented in the weekly US Weekly: "He was so right, we ended up finding a good place and everything was fine, I think I see him most often and spend the most time with him. We are probably the closest. "
