The Oscars will take place in late February, in 2021 and 2022, to host the Olympics, the Super Bowl and other events, announced organizers Tuesday.

Next year, the 92nd Oscars will be held on February 9, but the following ceremonies will take place on February 28, 2021 and February 27, 2022, the last Sunday of the month.
"On the last Sunday of February, the schedule of the 2022 Olympic Games, Super Bowl and National Holidays will be respected," said the Academy of Arts and Film Science and its broadcast.
"The Academy and ABC continue to evaluate the dates for the coming years." The annual Oscars, which rewards the best of cinema, is broadcast live from Hollywood on a channel and in more than 225 countries and territories around the world.
