Actress Priyanka Chopra finished her Bollywood film, The Sky Is Pink and partied with the team to celebrate its completion. During the evening, Priyanka was also asked to say a few words about why she chose this film for her return. The last Priyanka shot a Hindi film in 2016, Jai Gangaajal.
A video of the actor speaking at the party with director Shonali Bose and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur standing beside him surfaced online. In choosing The Sky Is Pink among various offers, the actor said: "Among the various options on offer, everyone is asking why this movie? Why not this tent-pole, a boiler with singing and dancing ". Siddharth interrupts to ask him "Priyanka, what film are you talking about?" And everyone burst out laughing uncontrollably.
For the record, Priyanka came out of Salman Khan's Bharat to give way to his big wedding with American singer Nick Jonas. Salman spoke about his departure from the film in several of his recent interviews. He told The Times of India: "People would leave their husbands to a movie like this, but I think what she's doing is the most amazing thing."
Priyanka also talked about how she played the 18-year-old mother. – in the film and how Shonali convinced her to say yes to the project. She arrived at the party in a white shirt dress with weird yellow heels. However, despite a knee band hinting at a leg injury, the actor rocked the dance floor. A video of the actress showing her trademark moves on her dance number, Desi Girl was shared on one of her fan pages.

While actor Farhan Akhtar was away from the party, Zaira Wasim joined the team in a red midi dress. Priyanka also shared a thank you note on her Instagram account after the party. She wrote: "@farutakhtar, you made an amazing co-actor again with all the laughter and fun! (We missed you tonight) and my amazing @zairawasim_ and @ rohitsaraf10 with whom I linked Friendship for Life! It was the most beautiful experience. Thank you @shonalibose_ for your incredibly unique vision. I am so proud of your self-confidence. "
