Preview at the box office: This Friday will be the release of Taapsee Pannu starrer Game Over . The film is the notable solo release of the year and arrives in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Since Bharat released last week, no other major Hindi film was scheduled for this week and this is where Anurag Kashyap came on board to present it.
The film presents an unusual subject where a young woman finds herself trapped in a traumatic past due to a video game incident. Although it looks like a very Hollywood plot, from the point of view of the stage and the setting (that of a woman trapped mentally in her apartment), one also thinks of the phobia of Radhika Apte .
The film has gone a fair promotion with regard to the Hindi version, and as a result, awareness is also limited. It takes advantage of the fact that there are three versions to monetize and that the film being primarily intended for Tamil and Telugu audiences, anything that comes from Hindi would be an added bonus.
In Hindi, one can expect an opening around . 1 crore mark and from there it would be word of mouth that would decide its execution after the weekend.
