IIT students bring a new action against the Super 30 version
The Hrithik Roshan Super 30 has sparked controversy. The film was due out earlier this year on Republic Day 2019, but several months before its release, director Vikas Bahl was accused of badual harbadment. While the manufacturers were talking about it, a PIL was filed against Anand Kumar, on whose life this film is based. 4 students from the IIT claimed that it was a fraud.
The film is now due out on July 12 and its trailer was released a few weeks ago. The trailer also received a mixed response, much criticizing Hrithik's Bihari focus and his character's skin tone. And now, new problems have appeared for the film. The 4 IIT students – Avinash Baro, Bikash Das, Monjit Doley and Dhaniram Taw, according to a mid-day report, are now considering filing a new complaint to delay the release of the film.
They say that, while the legal process was initiated, how to release a film that celebrates his life. Their legal counsel, Amit Goyal, told Mid-Day that they are not "perfectly aware" of the facts contained in the film, but after what they saw in the tape -announce, it seems that it has been celebrated.
