The latest release of Bollywood star Taapsee Pannu, Game Over, published in three languages, earned a credit of Rs. 2.91 in two days. Trade badyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the numbers and wrote that the thriller had made a first collection of 97 lakhs.

Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, Game Over was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Hindi version collected 38 lakhs and 88 lakhs on Friday and Saturday, respectively, and Game Over had to face Salman Khan's Bharat at the box office.The film continues to run in cinemas (on about 2,100 screens), while that the Taapsee film was distributed in just over 700 cinemas across the country. .

Written by Saravanan and Kaavya Ramkumar, Game Over came out on June 14, a week after the exit of Bharat.
Thanking Taapsee for his performance, Raja Sen of the Hindustan Times wrote in his review: "Pannu is very strong in a hysterically troubled role, and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, acting caretaker, is wonderfully warm and makes the most realistic film. 103 minutes later, Game Over seems fast, although Hindi dubbing and awkward dialogues give the Telugu-Tamil bilingual film some urgency.
